Vegan Banana Pancake Recipe
- 240g plain flour
- 320g banana (Roughly 4 peeled bananas)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 240ml plant-based milk (Soy Milk is preferred)
- 3 tsp coconut or vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Cinnamon (Optional)
This makes around 6 regular-sized pancakes, perfect to share or treat yourself!

What To Serve With Your Banana Pancakes
- Sliced banana
- Blueberries
- Cherries

Method – How To Make Your Vegan Banana Pancakes
- Roughly chop the bananas and place them in a bowl and whisk them with the flour, baking powder and soy milk. If you have access to a blender, blend the bananas, flour baking powder and milk until it is a smooth, lump-free consistency.
- Heat a teaspoon of your coconut or vegetable oil in a small frying pan over medium–high heat.
- Using a tablespoon of mixture, place the mixture into your preheated pan. Each pancake should be around 8 inches in diameter.
- Cook for around 2 minutes on each side (or until golden brown) adding more oil if needed.
- Repeat until you have made all the pancakes.
- To serve, divide the pancakes between two plates if sharing. Add some sliced banana on top and drizzle your choice of honey or syrup. Enjoy whilst it’s warm.

- 90g Rolled Oats
- 230g Oat Milk (Other Plant-based Milk)
- 60 grams + 3tbsp all-purpose or wholewheat flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 2 tsp Maple or Agave Syrup (or honey, if you’re not vegan)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (Optional)
- 3tsp Coconut or Vegetable Oil
- 3tbsp of icing sugar (optional)
This makes around 6 medium-sized pancakes

What To Serve With Your Vegan Oatmeal Pancakes
- Sliced banana
- Maple or agave syrup (Honey if you’re not vegan)
- Powdered icing sugar
Method – How To Make Your Vegan Oatmeal Pancakes
- Blend the oats, plant-based milk and syrup and vanilla extract until it is a smooth consistency.
- In a separate bowl whisk the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
- Combine the blended ats mixture by pouring it into your bowl of flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
- Add a splash or two of plant-based milk, depending on thickness.
- Heat a teaspoon of your coconut or vegetable oil in a small frying pan over medium–high heat.
- Place the 6 tablespoons of pancake mixture into your preheated pan.
- Cook for around 2 minutes on each side (or until golden brown) adding more oil if needed.
- Once golden brown, flip the pancake and keep doing so until it’s cooked.
- Repeat until you have made all the pancakes.
- To serve, divide the pancakes between two plates if sharing. Add some sliced banana (or other toppings of your choice) on top and drizzle your choice of honey or syrup and powdered icing sugar. Enjoy whilst it’s warm.
